Grandma's postcards !

On these pages you can find different historic postcards showing collieries from all over the Ruhr area (Germany). In my eyes these authentic pictures are very nice because they show us the structure of collieries during the first years of the 20th century. Something really fascinating is the fact that at this time the Ruhr area was still very rural structured, the collieries surrounded by trees, bushes etc. and that today in the same places there are lots of buildings.
