Lots of guests came to the area of the former Le Bois du Cazier colliery in the
city of Marcinelle in Belgium for the commemoration ceremony. The miners wore
the dresses they wore underground, as well, and also the miners' wifes wore the
clothes that were quite common when the mining accident occurred. On the signs
that can be seen in this photo the names of the miners' communities that were
present during the ceremony are written.
