Learning project of Ost colliery - a visit to the colliery !

The pictures presented on this page document the tour that pupils of the Geist school in Hamm (Germany) took part in on May, 22nd in 2006. The school project has the intention to introduce pupils into mining and to get them interested in that subject so that they are sensitized for that kind of industry and its special situation when they are still very young. As you can see in the photos, there was a lot of fun and practical orientation, as well. You can get more pieces of information about Ost colliery's school project if you click here. If you are interested in a tour like that, please contact Ost colliery in Hamm (Germany), the corresponding data can be found under "DSK collieries" in the menu bar on the left.
